I think its like the Capcom Suicide scenario on the CPS-2 boards. It may have a temporary cache that saves it for a while (Matter of hours!) so you can change the battery but dont hold me to that. The Legendary LoneWolf said:OK hang on, IF the battery dies, do I lose all my saves then ?
Best thing is to try it. The battery is internal so it would mean opening it up and replacing it. I think the memory is only like 4k or somethin (may be wrong). I thought my Front Loader battery was empty thats why i started this thread, but luckily, i pulled it out of storage and its fine so fingers crossed for yours. The Legendary LoneWolf said:ok well I haven't played my neo CD for a few years, so its been off. What would you say the best thig to do is and if I have 2 change my battery, then how as I never done it.
This is gonna sound stupid but I thought that in a sense it was a very small HD where it would just keep all the game saves.
I mean I thought I could not play the neo CD and after 0 years switch it on and ALL 85 saves will still be there
The Legendary LoneWolf said:ok so let me get this straight I need 2 replace the battery, what sort ? and where does the memory save to ?
As I know the sega saturn had a battery but that was for the clock and not for the memory ?
