It was very difficult. I made my consolized 2 slot last year, and it has all the trimmings. Neobitz, Unibios, etc. Best of all I had it painted "Neo" red at Maaco, and had custom vinyl lables made for it too. It has a 10,000 mile warranty! Qube said he would post pictures. Here's what I got though... a minty-mint Panasonic Q Gamecube. We are both quite happy with our new toys.

Indeed, that was one of the toughest trades ever, but I'm really happy with it!

I'll take some pics of Eddie's CMVS tonight if I can and post them up. I'm glad I finally have the chance to play some of the more expensive games that I could never afford on homecart. I've been playing Ninja Masters for the last 1/2 hour, what a great game.

Thanks again loopyeddie

Well that is nice to hear that you both are happy with your trades. In the end that is all that matters.

Sorry 56k

Here are some pics of Eddies first CMVS system. I'm really happy with it, as the workmanship is really solid. I guess "Pimpin is eazier" than some would have you believe 'eh ;)

The whole thing, still missing a base, but it's not done yet!

Powerswitch and light, as well as power connection. Those white rings are just reflections of the screws on the bottom.

Very nice CMVS unit.

Usually, when people tack on stuff like stickers, flaps, etc., it only takes away from the appearance of the unit. But the graphics on this one are very solid, and the color is perfect. Very nice work, loopy.

Thank you! The jacks on the back aren't as straight as I would have hoped for, but overall, I'm am quite proud of this unit. I am trying to figure out a base for it that also covers the sides and front, yet allows access to controller ports, volume, etc. Thanks for the pics Qube.

That is a very nice looking consolized unit. I really am liking that shade of red.

Sweet! How did you do those graphics? I've just got to the same stage with mine and am wondering how to get some graphics on there without messing it up.

Any signs, place should be able to do it (Signs Now, Signs Plus, Fast Signs, We'll get you your sign so fast you won't believe how incredibly fast we got it too you signs, inc.). I just made a layout on photoshop with the logos I found online (they were really high-res good quality ones). I got mine for free through my sister, but I don't think it would cost more than 30 bucks.

I'm buying a 6 slot. I might consolize it. What do you think, qube?

I'm sure it would look cool, but damn would that be huge

LOL! Would be fun to see though!

Or you could actually get that 4-slot '29 up and running  :crying:

Thanks for the compliment! I really put myself whloeheartedly into it. I would not compromise on anything. I didn't play any games, or do much of anything when I made it, other than working on it. I know it isn't an original idea at all, but I wanted something I could be proud of. I thought the red might be too flashy, but I thought it was my only choice. What color is associated with Neo? The red on the big reds is the only thing that comes to mind.

I am in the process of figuring out a base for it. I didn't want to post any pictures of it until it was done, but I really glad qube did. We have decided that the base will be black and that it will completely cover the motherboard. I'm hoping to make it out of metal, but that might not be possible. Whatever the outcome is, I want it to look like something that was made for home use. Nothing exposed. No cutting board base.

Thanks again for all the wonderful compliments on this.

Awesome 2slot, qube! I owned one a couple years ago and only have good things to say about it. I definitely say you got the better end of the deal in terms of you having a wider selection of A+ games for your new system.

It was not an easy choice. I love 'em both, but I'm happy with the CMVS ;)

Thanks Wes. That's pretty much why I'm happy with the trade. Now I can pick up all the expensive Neo games I couldn't afford before.
