never bothered to listed but i would DL a few songs. chances are the only reason to get one is cuz its charlie theres prolly a reason nobody wanted to listen to him back then (and i dont think it was cuz of badass controversial material). ive heard its pretty bad from a musical perspective.

i also think he recorded some stuff while in prison.

well someone can be a fucked up person and still make great music, case and point, michael jackson. at least charlie didn't go from being a black man to looking like joan rivers.

I ended up voting the first no.

Then, while checking the allmusic site about the album, I found this review:

Outside of whatever historical interest this record may have (pre-Sharon Tate murder), it is the work of a man who was as good a singer/songwriter as he was a human being. Don't bother.

Heh, sums up my feelings.

I previewed a few tracks btw, they actually are kinda catchy. Lie is in diehard need of a remaster. A review mentioned this, to which I agree.

This thread is a moral issue, its not about the cd's price.
