Alright, The very first time I saw this, I saw this like, with 5 different machines, but mainly, Street Fighter - Third Strike. Where there are 2 cabinets.. 2 monitors... one player side on each cabinet, and back to back, so you can't see what the others are doing... welll I explained that horribly, but....

Is this terribly hard?

Are they running off of 1 PCB? (Or whatever, not sure what 3rd strike is played on.)

Do you need extra devices/wires?

It just seemed interesting, and could it be done with any-game?

Mulletron.

The main problem would be the rgb video level buffering/amplification to each monitor, Ive never tried it but would imagine the rgb would be less than ideal as you would be running into too low an impeadance running two monitors in parallel from one gameboard...

The rest is easy.

NOTE:

Some Neo Geo Games can be linked together for up to 4 cabs(I think that's the max amount)
League Bowling
Thrash Rally
Riding Hero

AES to AES (both much be the same region)

MVS to MVS to MVS to MVS..Though I've only done it with two US bios boards so far.

It may require all the boards to be the same region.

AES to MVS (Requires MVS with Uni Bios Chip)

AES to MVS to MVS to MVS (Requires all 3 MVS boards to have a Uni Bios Chip)

AES with:I'm pretty sure Debug Bios Chip can link to any region MVS board..

Different region carts can be linked.

Link-Up Feature

Several of the early Neo Geo AES releases featured a socket on top of the home cartridge that allowed two home systems with the same cartridge to be linked together for up to 4-player action. For a long time there was a belief that no such cables were made, however a number were created in included beneath the trays of at least some link-up games (Riding Hero is the confirmed game, see picture).

The three games were League Bowling, Riding Hero, and Thrash Rally. For an extended discussion about the Link-Up Feature, please see THIS thread.

I think we are talking about running two cabs/monitors off one mobo.

Not linking MVS or AES

Though this one shown in the pick came within my US copy of Riding Hero..All it is,is a Stereo to Stereo /male to male end wire....Must be Stereo not Mono...

I've heard these can be bought at Radio Shack, but I've never checked.
Looking around my boxes of wires I've come across a few pairs I must of acquired in time..but they are either white or gray.
