WTF is this?

Ok, whats the deal here? I found these off to the side of the cabinate...are they a ground wire set for something? They are both green and :oh_no: bent to conform with each other, so they must go together.

Likely ground wires. Those eyelets are for putting a screw through so you can just ground it to the cab enclosure.

Those the the ground wires for the MV-1C memory card reader cables.
A bit of overkill really as half of the connecting wires in each of the 60 pin gray cables are common ground. So its not necessary.

Connect to any metal work on the cpanel near the MV-1C and the screen can on the mobo side (or any ground point on the board)
If you dont want to connect them make sure they are well insulated with tape so they do not short against the mobo.

These two ground wires should be bolted together to the Motherboards shell..As ttooddddyy said they are for the ground wires for the MV-1C memory card reader cables...

thanks for the replies, Ill just connect it to the MB shell I guess. I must have disconnected them when I removed the shell the other day, and just didn't see it until now :oh_no:

Never leave them loose, i fucked up a perfectly good mvh6 one time by doing just that, they may wonder and short on the mobbo :annoyed:
