X-box & MAME (I really need your advice)

Howdy everyone!

I've been thinking of buying a pre-modded X-box console with Mame, but how well does Mame run on the system? Also, I can't seem to find any sites that sell new X-boxes that are already modded and ready to go with Mame installed. Any advice you good folks can offer me would be much appreciated.

I havnt updated mame for the xbox for a few months but it runs pretty good for older games. Most games that came out in the mid 90s and up run like ass if the vram is not configured right.
