Man, get a fucking life. You arent impressing me with your "Hey n0ob" BS.
Im looking for plans on how to build a fake cabinet. If I was looking for an actual SNK cabinet then Id have posted it in the Wanted section.

Perhaps the Tech Section would be a better place to post this?

Cleatis, if you ever find out a site or get any info, please let me know. Me and a friend have been wanting to build a cab as well, specifically a mini MVS cab. If I find anything out I will send you a pm. Thanks! :glee:

Good general info on cab building here (mostly mame related but usefull for any cab).

On a lighter note, you can make your very own classic arcade cabs for free, I have a Defender sitting on my desk right now :)

Yeah Ive spent some time on hardMVS looking at the different boards. I guess the only thing left is to find the measurements and everything on how to secure the monitor, board, fans and everything else on the inside. This doesnt really look like its a very hard project.
Any ideas on where to find the info on mounting the monitor and everything?

It depends on the mvs board and which type of cab you choose to build, and wheather you want to put together your own harness or not. PM the detais and I will advise on options- please beleive me its not difficult and im not trying to sell anything btw.

I have found severl mounting Brakets and what not for the monitor on ebay, if you think the wiring for this puppy is no biggy, Mounting a monitor should not be a though one to figure out.

I found this site with some info dunno if it will help http://www.mrsalty.net/arcade/monitor/monitor.shtml

I saw monitors for sale on this website http://www.arcadeshop.com/parts.htm#Monitors I am sure they can provide with some information regarding the mounting.

I havent got that far so if you find anything better I would appreciate it.

The boards are 20mm thick, the control panel 1.5mm steel.

BTW a dimention I left out from my original diagram- from the front panel (where the door is) to the rear of the cab is 820 mm.

Hope this helps
