Now seems to call himself Keith, but it's dead obvious that this is the newest account. I and a couple others suspected it, and now I'm certain. He seems to have done a few good deals, maybe he's tried to reform his ways. But buyer beware for those who remember what happened a year and half ago. Watch out, and for noobs, read this thread:

Oh SHIT!

Im currently in the middle of a transaction with MVS Player aka Keith Buff. I traded my Turbografx - 16 with cd rom and Y's book 1 and 2 and another game for his modded xbox. The deal was that we send both packages with Tracking#. I sent my package out to him last wednesday on the 27th with DC# from usps. He said that his package was packed and ready for shipping, he just needs to wait for another conponent before shipping me the package. So its now almost a week and I have not yet recieve my tracking# or any emails from him. I noticed he was on today and so I sent him a PM regarding the xbox package. He did not reply and logged. It seemed fishy at first and so I then decided to email him, he did not respond. Then today I saw a post started by another member about MVSplayer/Aaron Lewis/KeithBuff etc. The thing that caught my attention was that aaron lewis or whatever his name had almost the same mailing address as Keith Buff/mvsplayer! Same City,State and same Zip Code. Another thing, when I first asked Mvsplayer for his mailing address he did not leave his name, only left me with his mailing address, I had to ask him 2 times before he gave me his name. For those that have done business with Mvsplayer please add to this thread with your thoughts and comments. and Keith, please pm me regarding this situtation. thx -Chowyunfat

How many people in Rogers, Arkansas are MVS collectors with the same really distinct, obvious writing style, constantly coming onto the same board with the same interests, the same stuff for sale, and the same behavior?

Addresses are a match.

This new account is more obvious than Jago M. Sr.

Hey, I hope this isn't true... Does anybody have any type of proof? I have a deal pending with him as well for a large Turbo Duo package which I have already sent. I have seen some good posts about mvsplayer here, ohh well. We'll see, I guess!

Welp just contacted the post office in Rogers Arkansas. It would seem that my package that was sent to Mr. Buff was never picked up when they tried to deliver it to him. A notice was left for him to pick it up at the post office. I spoke with the clerk over the phone and am having the package rerouted back to me. Dude wasted my time my $14 for shipping + extra postage to have it rerouted back to me. If you are out there Keith and you still want the deal, SEND YOUR PACKAGE FIRST!

Did he pay you first?

I did a deal with him and it went smoothly.

He shipped first and threw in a few bonuses. I sent the payment straight to sonofx51 so he could mod an XBox for him. I'm also potentially dealing with him again on another item that he's willing to send first towards a trade for Turbo goods.

I also don't think he'd want to deal with me even as a new account since I banned his last 2 or 3 accounts previously. Unless he wanted to say he dealt with me (he did leave me a bad buyer feedback in my feedback poll thread although he stated clearly in the thread that it was a mistake).

Also there is no match for the IP address which all the previous Aaron Lewis addresses did match each other.

mvsplayer, care to comment on this stuff?

I'd also like to hear from Jose on the XBox deal.

That XboX that was sent to sonofx51 for a mod-job I would assume its suppose to be the one he was planning to trade with me for my tg-16 package. Mr. Buff mentioned in his PM he was the one who was doing the mod-job. Said he fooked up on a few wire soldors and have to repair them. Dont know, Mr. Buff if you're out there please explain.

Glad you got your stuff back. New guys, please be careful with other new guys, clearly not everyone is bad, but he did seemingly pick out you two because it wouldn't be weird for him to ask for his stuff shipped first or at the same time, in which case he can just not send.

Sounds just like him. 400 transactions where people were supposed to ship at the same time and then the guy mysteriously goes out of town.

LOL, chowyunfat is like the 7th person to have his package rerouted to him.

The ips just may not match as the addresses are slightly different as well. He probably got a new ISP at his new address or is using somebody elses. Beware of this piece of shit, no matter how many good deals he's done, be extremely cautious.

He said that he would buy my Gamecube bundle, and would be sending me money order. He asked if I would send first, I'm glad I refused.
Fortunately, I wasn't burned. But I lost out on 3 potential buyers as I had the system bundle held for him for since 10-19-2004.

Got in touch with mvsplayer finally, he said he is gonna refund my postage +fees for rerouting the package back to me. However he does not accept paypal, so I will be waiting for either a check or moneyorder I suppose. And about the xbox, it would seem that Mr. Buff is still working on it saying there is a problem with the mod-job. He told me he brought the xbox with him when he went outta town to work on it. That is not what he told me when he PM me a week ago, he said the xbox was done and ready for shipping. But I dont know what is going on. I will be awaiting for my postage refund and my xbox. This has got to be the worst transaction I have ever had anywhere.

just to clear up you never sent me a xbox. (i am provideing the xbox) just so no one thinks he sent me a xbox, and i have explained to chow the whole situation.
