My cab plays games upside down. It's fine for cps2 because I can flip the screen, but I want to hook up an stv board in there and I don't think that system has the option.

I heard some people say you could cut and swap a couple wires and it's easy...

any ideas?

Yes, it's possible to invert the picture 180 degrees by reversing the position of the yoke wires which should be 4 wires colored red, blue, yellow and green (maybe there are exceptions). If you swap red with blue and yellow with green you should get a 180° rotated picture.

Be careful when working on monitors...

Why don't you just flip the monitor over?

The existing wires attached to the monitor wouldn't reach their plugs...

I will try that yok thing this weekend, thanks!

If you carefully cut the scan plug to seperate the vertical and hoizontal scan connections you can reverse without soldering.

Well, now I have another problem....

it's in a place that there's like no way to see or even reach :( May be out of luck :(

I am guessing they go to a plug down there somewhere, but I can't get to it, let alone even get a picture of it....

couldn't get the plugs out...pulled, pryed, yanked and nothing budged....so I said fuck it and cut the wires, stripped them, twisted the red to the blue and the blue to the red and the green to the yellow and the yellow to the green and then soldered them together, electrical taped the crap out of them and flipped on the game and it works perfectly!!!!

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!!!

Sorry to bump this post but I have a similar problem.

It seems my PCB's that are not jamma compliant require an adaptor. 2 of them only display upside down. Namely Mr Do! and Galaga. I take it this method can be used on Impress and Astro's right? If anyone has any idea where these four wires can be located I would appreciate it.

Thanks.
