So i started playing aero fighters 2 again and i noticed something. I dont know if it is because i picked a different charecter or something but there was a wierd looking bottle cap/ghost boss after the monkey boss. Is that normally there? are thier more than 2 bosses? Anyway, just wondering.

His name is Mambu. His apperance is random, I'm starting to think is
something around 1 in every 100, since many other people (Including myself)
have seen him.
Here's a pic:
Now The Nautilus, is rather harder to see. I have never seen him, but nruva
and Gemant (Members of these forums) have. He appears in SW3. I remember
Gemant said this one is probably 1 in 500 chances, since is a lot harder to
appear.

you know what the crazy thing is though? The very first time I found Aero Fighters 3 in an arcade, I played it all the way through (with continues, blah) and ended up taking a route that ended with the underwater stage. Nautilus appeared, and of course when that happens you don't even get a regular boss fight. I was rather confused when the next loop started and I was just like "You mean there aren't any individual character endings this time?? Well that sucks."
...of course, I later found out I was wrong, but yeah. Kinda strange that it happened to me on the first time?

That's simply awesome! Nice one Jorge. I've had Mambu enough times but never seen Nautilus, ever. I wonder if he's more likely to appear with fewer credits used or a higher score or so? Oh God I'm happy, I already love this game dearly as it is.

in all seriousness there's another random element in Aero Fighters 3 that I've only seen like.... once or twice (I had to abuse savestates on an emulator just to get a picture of this)
on stage 4 (if you destroy the left wing on that ship after stage 1 to take that route), before the boss there will be three rock formations that attack in a random way... it either breaks off into smaller rocks, launches a huge rocket at you, or turrets come out to fire bullets at you.
....or, this guy will appear. I have no idea who this guy is or what its significance is... probably a character from another Video System game. Anybody else ever seen him appear?
