Has anyone ever ordered a game(s) from either Coin Op Express or JGN (Japan Games Now)? Some of their prices seem pretty good, I'm just curious as to if either have scammed anyone before or given out broken products ect....

If not, then maybe I'll try them out.

JapanGamesNow.com is run by Former Forum Member Ryan Smith Rimm_rs, Some people have found him on the shady side, but I've ordered from him about 3 times, and the items come very quickly, very well packaged, and exactly as pictured or described.

The shady part of Ryan is all opinion, but its a fact that he has some great prices and ships same or next day. Great guy.

I've gotten the majority of my AES collection from Ryan so far. 100% happy every time I deal with him. In the process of getting a NeoCD from him as we speak. Great seller.

Ryan is a good guy and a good seller. The snafu that went down with him and Shawn was a bit of a mess, but he's never been known to rip off a buyer. On the contrary, his descriptions of his items are pretty damned conservative.

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything used from coinopexpress.com because you won't know what you're getting exactly. And it seems that the SSVS kits there are gone and never coming back .... :crying:

coinop is good but they are a huge biz. They are fast and reliable. You really don't know what you are getting condition wise tho... Consider a bank transfer rather than paypal if the order is big enough.

I have never heard any substatiated claims that doubted the integrety of JGN.

I would never hesitate to by from Ryan at JGN. I have bought two games from him; both were in better than advertised condition, and shipped immediately. Terrific seller, in my experience.

Ryan copied his grading scale for his page, and also apparently grabbed people's e-mail addy's from here, but still not sure what's up with this one.
