The sad fact is if it was in a nicely design snap case it would sell. You could probably even ask for an extra 50-100 euro.

I love playing tetris ,my wive loves playing it so I would spend the money. The four player adapter would get used here. Would that make me a dumb fuck ? If you say so.

I get though that people want Tetris for Neo Geo. It's like when they release Space Harrier on Atari 8 Bit. Tell them you can play a better version on MAME
It does look too simple, even with four players to charge as much as they are. I agree with that. I think it's too easy to make a simple good-enough game with the DevKit or DatLib and sell it. Developers really need to be spending a lot of time on Neo Geo games to charge that kind of price for them.

I think it's a good idea in order to offer some variety in the Neo catalogue. I mean... it's good for us to enjoy games such as DevTeam shooters but... I enjoy playing other genres too.

It's great to see new NG games, but I'm disappointed in this. It's not original, infringes copyright (so they could be closed down at any second), and has little R&D investment behind it. The music is cool, but all else sucks beyond what you'd expect in freeware or a £3.00 indie game. Where are the cartoon graphics, for example?
This is an electronic format age, so why only offer plastic cartridges? And if this is a finished product, why is a kickstarter being done?
Sadly this screams greed at me. I won't be buying, and I speak as someone who has every NGDev release (yes I'm both patient and a sucker, heh).
Sorry this sounds awfully negative, but this isn't an inspiring release, is it? And given how cheap original Tetris games are nowadays, would it really be so hard to licence the game elements rather than break the law? This is a commercial venture, not a NFP fan release.

And copyright infringement? Hell, that only means the Neo is finally going mainstream when it comes to homebrews.

The problem I have with most NG homebrew is that the NG has plenty of quality OG shmups, puzzle, and Metal Slug games already. My favorite homebrew titles so far have been the three games that did something different from the rest of the NG library - gambling (Knight's Chance), platforming exploration (Gunlord), and tate shmupping (Neo XYX). Along those lines, I'm looking forward to Xeno Crisis since there isn't a Smash TV / Total Carnage overhead-arena shooting style game on the NG yet.
Neotris really only brings 4 player capabilities as something we haven't seen already on the NG. And that's only for the AES when the NG is primarily an arcade platform. There should be an MVS version with header pins on the cart for P3 & P4.
Imagine if they were showing something 4 player that was unique to the Neo Geo like a vehicle combat style game (ie Rock N Roll Racing) or overhead exploration (ie Gauntlet) - that would be a lot more interesting.
Tetris is just as "been-there, done that" as it gets - it was a black-and-white Gameboy game for crying out loud. Is there anyone that hasn't already played Tetris to the point of saturation?

Every idea and variation you ever had on Tetris probably already exists (none of them costs more than $10 though so the "expensive Tetris" idea is up for grabs)

I find it very hard to dump 350 into a sales page that looks like more effort was put into the empty shell with a label on it with a case.... Rather than showing how much effort has been out into the game it is supposed to represent.
