Hey Gang,

New to purchase an AES, but had two questions which I was not 100% on.

- Have an opportunity to purchase an AES, serial no. 47005, but have seen two charts that express different RGB qualities. One says that this unit would fall in the "C" RGB and "A" Composite headings and another suggest that it would be "A" RGB and "B" Composite, explains that the best graphics would be in the first 86,000 serial numbers. Is there any clarification to this in the year 2017, or from your experience does it really matter?

- Also, where is the best place to send the unit off for Bios and RGB/Component mods? Any other mods that would suggest?

Thanks for your help!!

You can't know from the serial. You may need to cut some traces on the board if the RGB doesn't look good. All AES's can be made to look good.

Are you planning on even using the RGB output?
