Late last year, I snagged a nonfunctional and filthy Big Red. After a lot of cleaning and tinkering, it is good to go!

The CP was totally rusted. I cleaned it and added a nice replica CPO from QuarterArcade.com. Replaced all of the buttons and sticks. Replaced battery and the EL Panels in the marquee.

It still needs new paint, vinyl, and T-Molding, but that will have to wait!

I also like to grab random Sega/Capcom/SNK stuff when I can.

Hoping to track down a Candy Cab this year.

Yea, look at pics of a big red or a goldie, they go under the CPO, if they are above it will scratch the surface.

I also cut magnetic sheets and put my move stickers on them. Now I can slap different move stickers onto the machine:

That thing looks great. Smart idea about the move stickers.

Did you use the original stickers? Or did you make copies?

I used some originals that I snagged for cheap. If I had something rare, I might have kept the backing on the original sticker so that it could at least be transferred again if needed.

Do you have a good source for copies, or method for making them?

I take all of my movestrips to a local office max and have them scan it in their huge flatbed scanner. Then have them print me off copies, cost like 10 bucks for a sheet of 6 or so.

That's pretty cool. What material do you have them printed on?
