So i need to add a volume knob in front of a single speaker. I am trying to make it as simple as possible. I don't need the volume to go up, just to be dialed down.
I read one thing that said...
Take the two wires going to the speaker, cut, strip, etc. the ends. You have 3 pins on the pot. The speaker wires go to pin 2 and 3 while the other two coming off the board go to 1 and 3. They said to use a 500k pot.
My question...does this sound right?
If what it is on matters, it's the speaker in the most annoying kids claw game my daughter just picked up, lol. I thought about a simple on/off switch, but i wanted to give this a shot first.
Thanks!
