Last Blade 1 or 2?

I prefer LB2 because it has some cool musics and ass kicking new commers
such as Setsuna and Hibiki, LB1 is not bad though...

LB1 stands out as a work of art.

LB2 gameplay is slightly better, but LB1 has MASTERPIECE backgrounds.

IMO the BGs are very important in Neo games, and LB1 really delivers.

Have you read the LB1 and 2 reviews at Garg's Temple? They are really accurate IMO.

I prefer part one because of its atmosphere, the whole thing fits together better imo, background graphics are superior as well (and are not shared between two characters as is the case with its successor!). My advice: If you are a solo player choose part one, but if you slug it out with some friends most of the time, get part two (it does have more characters to choose from after all). As for me, I own both :-)

The burning ship background in LB2 has to be in the top 3 coolest fighting backgrounds in any fighting game on any console, period.

LB2 gets my vote.....

That's like asking what do you like better, Filet Mignon or Chateubriand? Both are absolutely great....you won't starve with either. I like Chat......er I mean Last Blade 2 better myself. <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

I'm have LB1 on the PS and LB2 on the DC.

Personally, I prefer LB1 on the PS. Don't know why though. I'm supposed to like part 2 better, isn't it? heh. My 2 cents.

Hmmmm. I love them both. I guess I have o say LB1. It really is a great introduction to the series, plus it's atmosphere is just more powerful. Still, I can't live without both. LB2 has my pick for best fighting game intro ever.

Being an owner of both carts, I would have to say that Last Blade 1 is got that certain something that just kicks too much ass. Yes, when I got LB2 I was super excited, but the game play is a bit off for my taste (you can't stop the three slashes when you start them for Kaede, for instance). Also, I think the backgrounds are better in LB1. BEST BACKGROUNDS IN ANY FIGHTER TO DATE. Yeah, that good.

LB2 has some nice characters, and it, too, has nice BGs... too bad they are shared. I also don't like the endboss for LB2 half as much as the dual end boss battle in LB1.

If you had to get one, get the one that's cheaper! <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

I really can't decide.
LB1 has awesome backgrounds and the atmosphere/characters are just too damn sweet for words.
But LB2 has a larger cast of characters..

I can't pick one, The Last Blade series is one of SNK's finest works. I can't bring myself to select just one.

I have LB1 on cart and LB2 on the DC and I would have to say I like 1 better.

Awesome background, better play control and feel. LB2 seems to be missing that certain something that didn't grab me like the 1st one did.

I don't care much for the new characters in LB2 either.
