COLLECTOR SERIES SAMURAI MVS ?

I've never seen those. At first I thought they might be new Arcade made stuff, but they bear SNK copyrights....

Considering the serial # and looks, I'd say they ARE !arcade! made.. they prolly just put them in new cases and made new high-quality labels.

Go to the selling forum, everything clears up. They look nice don't they?

Those look kinda cool, I like them though I still prefer the originals anyday.

I think the carts look very nice, however, this is nothing more than "freaking" a cart. I do believe it very hypocritical if anyone praises these carts and bashes NGF on the same time. One or the other, not both.

Why is that exactly?
Many people have problems with NGF's past dealings, which have nothing to do with making inserts or stickers?

I for one, have always thought any work on creating inserts or stickers for unreleased games, or to replace destroyed or lost ones of released games was just fine.
If it makes a neo fan happy, more power to them.

So exactly what is it that !arcade is doing with those that you feel would make someone an instant hypocrit if they prasie em?

I have always felt if it's your property, what th hell.

I just don't like it whenever someone takes fan made items, such as this, then promotes them as official company products.

I have never seen !arcade claim that their works are official & rare SNK merchandise.

As long as they are truthful with their customers, treat them in a profesional manner, ship items via the options paid for by their customer, then I see no problem at all.

I think what you are missing is that NGF will claim thier items are official SNK or corrected. I have no problem with NGF carts other then thier Claims of them being official SNK and them basically ruining carts by putting thier stickers on them. Stealing artwork and claiming they are from digital files they have etc. not to mention there over pricing of said items. Along with thier unprofessionalism in bashing others. That is what makes them a bad place to deal with.

I think what he is saying though is that nowhere in the aution does it say that it is a fan made stickers or that it isn't official stickers.....it just says collectors series....which to me sounds like its leaning toward.....it's a special series that came out only for the collector......and then they added look at the serial #. Well that made me think that ARCADE was implying it was official.........if it wasn't implied then why did they even put the serial #'s on in the first place? I think they look awesome...I just think the wording kinda misleads people......not sure if it was intentional or not....but that is my veiw on this whole thing..... <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0"> :glee

I dunno, as I cannot speak for !arcade.
I am only judging by what they have said.

I agree, having it say SERIAL#FAN_MADE
would probably be ideal.

Hmm, I dunno.
Im no lawyer, so I dont know what is right or wrong here.

These carts were made in Japan, & they are copyright snk.
So I would feel that's ok, even though SNK did not make the sticker.

I don't think these carts are bootlegs..does anyne else? No? Ok..here we go.
These carts are 100% official and legit SNK made ones. It is, in no way, illegal to apply a new, homemade, sticker to a cart. The sticker just tells that the game/cart is (C) by SNK.
The only thing that sucks about these carts is that the info text tries to tell that these carts are a special and rare item, which they are NOT!

Besides this I personally love those new stickers. They look really cool. If these stickers were available seperately for every MVS game, many people could fix their damaged cart stickers.

All hail the original SS mvs carts, IN ALL THERE UGLY OFFICIALNESS!
They were made by SNK and to me, they will always be the best.
No matter how many different operations arcade pulls on SNK original products.

Bio how could you look at the original Samurai MVS carts in disgust......

I bet if ngf pulled this same thing people would be all over it.
ARCADE should get the same treatment IMO.
Its recreating of SNK items, whether or not it says official or unoifficial it shames SNK's original creations.

Anyone can make a pretty cover, however it does not have SNK's blessing. As long as it does'nt,.. Screw it!

Well I dont agree with your entire post,
but I do strongly agree with you here.

I'll take official products over hombrew anyday.

IMO, the whole purpose of this is to replace missing or destroyed inserts & stickers.

Never to replace the originals.
