According to gamesarefun.com, SNK's USA branch is back and hopefully will be publishing some of its (or Playmore's) Neo properties (Metal Slug, King of Fighters, etc.)

Now lets cross our fingers and PRAY for Metal Slug 3, 4, and 5 on GC or PS2! :D

Too Short some people would like to enjoy SNK products outside of the Neo originals, that is the reason for ports, so people without thousands can still enjoy the wonderful games that SNK puts out, your really annoying and act like a little rich brat, a game is a game, it would be awsome if they ported MS 3 and 4 over onto other consoles. Of course the Neo originals are better but games such as MS1 on the NGH reaching 2k+ are not an option for most and w/o ports (such as the saturn one of MS1) many would never get to enjoy it. I already know what you are going to say "shutup you 16 year old newb" I can really care less though because I speak the truth.

that is great news now some of the games for the neo will actully become more reconized since it will be on a more mainstream platforms.since i am the only one in my area that even has a neo outside of my freinds that enjoys these great games.but most people i recommed a neo game to at media play atleast a port of msx on the psx. they look at the screenshots on the back and say that game sucks but you now what do not judge a book by its cover. <a href="http://www.snkneogeousa.com" target="_blank">www.snkneogeousa.com</a> back up and running again that will have to be somthing to check out when it gets back up.

SNK RETURNS!
SNK recently re-opened its North American website with a teaser that it would launch again on October 25th, 2002. The company previously pulled out of the domestic market after it was purchased by Aruze, a Japanese pachinko maker. Several contributing factors were poor sales on software and its portable hardware, the Neo Geo Pocket Color.

It was a sad day for Neo Geo fans, when SNK closed its doors and retreated back to Japan, where most of its properties were auctioned to PlayMore Entertainment. Presumably, the domestic wing of SNK will publish PlayMore's games, but we'll be sure to keep you updated on more.

Not so fast guys, word round the camp fire is that they're only opening in Mexico and that they'll only be distributing MVS kits to arcades here in the US & Mexico.

I wonder exactly what the new company will be.... A new front for Playmore in America? or a games developer? The plot thickens.... Guess well have to wait and see.

I just hope it turns out to be a good thing...
Not to sound negative, but I would hate to see the NEOGEO go mainstream.. just my opinion :)
