I just wanna know from someone with actual experience what games are affected and what scenes. Do fighter-characters actually move smoother across the screen? Are some scenes completely cut out due to limitations on the cd system. Ganna get an AES & wanna know what to expect.
Please enlighten me Neo.pros/Bros!

Well i don't know about the cut animations and frame-loss on the CD-Z (although i heard something like that in the past), but for the AES system you get exactly what you find in the arcades (except for some censorship in certain games).

you want a full breakdown, that is alot to list.

most of the older games are not affected but games like Art of fighting 3 the sprites were shurnk and it is missing the most frames.

Samurai Showdown 3 and 4 are missing some frames and some of the sound samples are chopped. Hanzo comes to mind.

As a rule most of the newer fighters that came out will be missing frames. Although To do a detailed game by game list would take some time. The 2 I listed were just the major ones I recall.

Frame cuts in later KOF series(96,97,98, and 99) are quite noticeable as well.
I didn't like it when I had NG CD 3years ago.
