Does Real Bout Fatal Fury RAWK or what?!?!?!

Hey:

Man, I cannot stop playing RBFF!!! Great music, great graphics, phenomenal gameplay, and kickass Supers.

It also marks the first time where I have fought against a REALLY cheap and dirty boss (Billy) and not gotten frustrated...its just that much fun to play. Who else wants to talk about how great Real Bout is?

I love the ENTIRE Fatal fury series. I do prefer RBFF2 over part 1, because I love the fast gameplay and the music is better IMO. The combo's are great as well.

I love the backgrounds in RBFF, Southtown has such an incomparable character all it's own.

RBFF has some awesome gameplay as well, not to mention character designs/animation that is just a touch old-school.

I still think the original Real Bout Fatal Fury is by far the best of the Real Bout series. Say what you want about Ring Outs being "cheap", they sure made the game a lot more interesting.

Real Bout Special was pretty good though, there were still some interesting combos that could be done. And some characters were REALLY fun to play (Joe Higashi has never been so much fun)

I don't like Real Bout 2 anywhere near as much. Call me crazy but I'm not a big fan of "upgrades" where characters actually LOSE special moves and combos. And what's up with Terry's Power Dunk motion, how drunk was SNK when they thought THAT up? The whole in-between "Get in the Ring" stuff moves by a little too fast and strips the game of personality, which doesn't matter since the character portraits are HORRIBLE.
