a lot of fans are gonna play SOR 1, 2, 3, 4 back to back when it comes out! :)
its convenient that SOR 1, 2, 3 are on PS4 through Sega Genesis Classics, even includes the uncensored Japanese versions of Bare Knuckle II and III (III has extra story scenes too and a ultra epic intro cinematic)
so when SOR 4 comes out. I would play US SOR 1, JPN BK2, JPN BK3 then SOR 4.

I still say they should of had the confidence to support 4 players co-op online no matter what. if it lags, so what, the trilogy lags on Sega Genesis Classics and some play through the game online anyways. when Scott PilgrimvsTW was patched with 4 players online co-op, some full groups completed it, whether there was lag or not (what really messed up connected was the occasional freezes, but that game had that problem long before online co-op was added).

but ah well at least there were bold enough to add 4p local co-op at all, which is something even SOR Remake doesn't have.
so SOR4 having 4p co-op really exceeds expectations

yea its great the series is finally getting a worthy sequel

I have a Rom of BK3 with English translations which is by far the best version of the 3rd game.

2 was a funny one as the only bit censored in the PAL version was Mr X smoking, But I always forget they de-slutted Blaze in the US version heh.

wtf? Blaze wasnt a slut in either version. also Blaze looks the same in both versions, the only difference is her panties visible when doing a flying kick in SOR2 (which is nothing offensive, a skirt that short would show something. only cowards and prudes would censor that stuff).
but anyways, even if someone would classify her outfit as something a 'slut' would wear, the word slut is derogatory and used by people jealous of the female perks of looking and dressing sexy overall. its double standards belittling how women dress, but ok with whatever males wear or not wear.
guess MGS2 naked Raiden is a total giggalo whore to you huh. and Dragon Ball is pedophilia every time they show child Goku or child Gohan naked. but sexists give that a pass.
meanwhile, a teenage girl wears a girly a very formal party dress and prudes automatically label her a loli. wtf.

That's quite the knee jerk reaction to a small half-jokingly made statement on a videogame character. I mean, you end up talking about lolis and pedophilia, is there something you wanna tell us saner?

blaze looks like an eighties hooker in the old games, of course she's a slut.

Well Saner I agree it was stupid to censor her slutty panties but they did anyway.
They also censored Ash out and the female characters in SOR 3 were also de-slutted by making them cover up.

But I don't mind, I mean we all know Axel is boning her but if she was real ide totally give him a grand upper and hop on myself.

17 playable characters!! the epicness! also their select screen portraits behind the sprite have official art from the version they are from! such gorgeous presentation!!

also people have noticed even the previous versions have moves added to them too.
for characters like Blaze and Axel at least, this news does make up for it if the game happens to lack true same character pick option.
the classic sprites fit well with the new visuals, better than Castlevania Harmony of Despair looked between 8bit and later generation graphics.

grrrrr. well anyways back on topic, beat em up genre can rise in popularity with the coming of Streets of Rage 4
the genre has lots of technical potential. eventually the genre standards have to rise and higher quality beat em ups developed
though yea guess devs wait for a AAA beat em up that really inspires the industry to make next gen quality beat em ups and expand the co-op too
and fighting system innovations

They have started to make a come back recently.

River City girls was awesome IMO and had a great control style with a awesome OST.

The take down was beautifully done but lacked something in the game play a bit.

Theres another new one out on switch at the moment (cant recall the name) but I have not played it yet, Its sat in my to play pile atm under RE3 and giga wrecker.
