Attention all Phantom-1 owners and users. Please help others interested in this product by answering questions to the following poll submitted by dmhawkmoon! Ok, I added a couple more. :)

I don't have a Phantom, so I won't vote... but I can't see the results without voting... can that be changed? I'd still like to see the results!

The results are overwhelming in favor of supporting this device. I had experienced the "white dots" in zoom affects when the game 1st starts four out of 10 times but they would quickly disappear a couple of second into playing. I would also like to state that the Phantom-I is well constructed / durable. You don't have to be timid using this excellent device.

Thanks for taking my request seriously! I'm glad that we can point to this poll from now on when people ask. Now people can judge using overall feedback as opposed to just the one or two people who happen to be online at the time a thread is posted.

The one thing that surprises me is how many people say they made a custom shell!

I'm going to try to build a shell also. From the posted pics it doesnt look difficult at all. I havent had trouble aligning the P1 into the Aes slot, but I think its a very nice idea to offer some protection for your P1 in case it gets banged around.

Agreed, im very interested in the results as well. Plus i thought the whole point of the pole was so people withoutht he phantom 1 converter could see what others thought of it before they went out and bought it.

The Phantom 1 is quite possibly the greatest thing ever, with the possible exception of the Neo Geo itself. And cheese. Cheese is good.

Certainly not better than a consolized mvs smirk which plays all mvs games.

Awww man I can't say how much I loathe the P1. What I can't understand is how can 45% of the people that experienced graphical glitches and white dots recommend this to anyone?? The white dots I experienced never went away and were so distracting at times I could hardly make out what was going on. It might have just been a problem with the newest revised blue P1's but I wasn't going to shell out another $275 to find out. Also for anyone including !arcade! that said it was my system it's not I have 2 systems both have ultra mods and 1 is brand new that I bought from !arcade!. I wouldn't recommend the P1 to anyone although I highly recommend
!arcade! and his Ultra mods!!

I'm wondering the same thing.

I mean, if the Phantom-1 was $50.00, and the cheapest MVS/Supergun setup was $1500, then I could understand the recommendations even if a large percentage of games have some minor glitching, but considering that you could get a consolized MVS or MVS/Supergun setup for roughly the same cost as the Phantom-1 alone, I just don't get it.

When I had a Phantom, everything worked except Slug X.

Also experienced some small glitches during zooming.

Made a custom case for it as well.

Overall, nice product.

Just voted, I like the P1 it works fine for me. I have seen some white dots in Last Blade 2 when zoomed all the way out, but other then that I haven’t had any other problems.

So, 44% of owners experience graphical glitches, 26% have had 100% original MVS carts not funtion, 18% required new slots in their home system, and yet 72% still recommend it. oh_no

Bearing in mind the cost of a Phantom-1 (being as much if not more than a Supergun/MVS setup), I just don't get it.

I wonder do those that have experienced graphical glitches have a modded or unmodded aes system?

Curious.
