I have a dedicated 19" mini cabinet. It had some wear and tear but it works. Plus, the seller had finished re-wiring everything.

As for the rest of the problems, I have managed to find sources or ideas for the rest. I can get new joysticks. Removing rust and repainting will be a cinch. I found a place to buy T Molding.

However, one problem still plagues me. If any of you are fimiliar with the cabinet, you'll know that the sides are wood-decored. It's the same material you see on folding tables (the kind the Dudley Boys use if you're a WWF fan).

There are some tears in the decal and some dents in the wood. The dents are not the problem. I need to find somewhere that I can order uncut large sheets of this decal or laminent, so I can redo the side of the cabinet.

My goal is to make this cabinet as mint as when it went of SNK's line ('91 according to the markings inside).

If you know where I can get this material, please give the company or seller's name, phone number, e-mail address, and webpage.

Thank you ahead of time for any help.

You can order the side decals (or side art), from many arcade retailers. Video Connection (www.videoconnect.com) has a large stock of arcade kits, decals, marques, side art etc. Call them and see what they have in stock.

This is not simple game decals... let me explain again. Imagine, if you will, a fold out table. Look at the surface. It looks like wood, but it's a large laminent decal covering pressed wood. That laminent is what I seek.

I might have a source for you but many suppliers of that type of material don't like to sell to the 'public' if you know what I mean. I will let you know once I find out the name and/or number of the supplier.

Check your local Home Depot or Lowes. I had the plexiglass for my cab cut at Home Depot... and I have seen the sticker type wouldd grain you talk about there as well. I am not sure if you will be able to easily find the same grain, but you will probably find something close! Take a look,

I want to keep the cabinet in its original look. So going glossy black wouldn't be a good idea, if I want to restore it to its original condition. However, I thank you for the suggestion. I'm going to try Home Depot for the materials suggested by nruva.

Once it is fully restored, I will sell it as a collector's item (should score well more than what I paid for it), and pick up a standard cabinet for cheap, and repair that one.

Also, I see you post those links for those pics Sharpermc, and THEY STILL DO NOT WORK! Might wanna fix them.

The links work.... just you can't reach geocities files from anything but a geocities address... meaning you would have to go to his main page then type in the names of the images in the url field to see them. I wish people would stop using geocities, it makes seeing images a real pain...
