Yeah the backgrounds look especially like the older previous KOFs(like 97 98)

Overall, it looks like they cut out the majority of bad characters (Bao, Seth, Kasumi) and put back a bunch of good ones (Yamazaki, Billy, Jhun Hoon). Some of the new characters are interesting choices, like Griffon/Tizoc. I didn't really like Gato in MOTW, but it's interesting that he's in the next KOF, and it's always good to see a "new but familiar" face, as long as that face doesn't belong to Bao.

Could be a lot worse. Not too sure how I feel about about the tag system, but I'll reserve judgment until after I can actually play it.

I usually dont care much for the KOF series, but this one looks like it has great potential.

Sounds pretty freaking sweet. The new team really apeals to me. It's also nice that the roster is small like 99's (small by KOF standards. ) Hopefully we will have new sprites and some kicking bosses

and give him new nice moves so he would tie into motw later
intead of drawing in tizoc.
not to hate on the guy.
after all hes my fave in motw.
and i think gato is a strange choice too.

I thought everything was going fine until I heard Hinako. It pisses me off why they chose Hinako over Eiji. Nonetheless, I won't bitch about it. The gameplay seems to be interesting. I really look forward to this game. Playmore keeps surprising me even more. I can't wait till December 11 to play it.

Personally I think it _will_ be released as one initially, but why was SSV an MVS release by default? Less hope by developers and publishers for that one that it would be popular in arcades as a dedicated machine??
