Can we get an update on controllers?

I just finished the programming for the memory card disable on the new NBM. It still needs more extensive testing but the proof of concept part is done. Now I can go back to programming the usb portion of the joystick. Once the proof of concept is done, I can start cutting metal. While that's being done, I can clean up the code if necessary to make sure there isn't any lag or any other issues that can ruin game play.

Would be there any objections to mapping the kick buttons to the 3 output ports on the db15 connector? This would allow you to play games that require a kick harness on a supergun setup if you plan to use the dongle.

Since im not a tech head and have no clue of what you are talking about i have to ask. Would this in any way make a difference for normal use of the controller? would it perhaps make a difference if you go ahead and decide to make a wireless dongle set for the controller?

Would I have to get a new board for the memory card disable? Is this programming have to do with the memory Ram itself? I have the Omega VMC right now. Can't wait for the new joysticks; but willing to wait for a great product.

I do them as:

2 - Short
9 - Forward
10 - Roundhouse

According to my notes, that's the same scheme I have planned.

Not really. The pins are currently unused so nothing would happen if you pressed the extra buttons while hooked up to an omega.

You would need to get a new NeoBiosMasta as all the code is run off a CPLD that is not present on the current revisions.

shadowkn55, your inbox is full. I've tried sending you a PM regarding my sync issue.

I just wanted to second that this should be the pinout. It's what James has pushed for a while, and because of this, I know myself and many other have adopted it for six button sticks.

You need to adjust the sync settings on the xrgb mini. Turn off sync mode and play around with the sync level. Start off around 16 and slowly go in either direction until the picture stabilizes. The value can vary depending on the tv.

I got my Omega about a month ago, and there's really nothing else to say that hasn't been said in this thread already. Outstanding quality. From the design to the materials, the customer service, to performance, I couldn't be happier. The picture quality is outstanding on my CRT using component.

I'm new to the Neo-Geo. After seeing one for the first time in 1991, I finally got my hands on this elusive system. I've only been able to afford a few games, but I'm loving it. I'm actively on the hunt for WindJammers and Bust-a-Move Again next.

Oh, and Neo Drift-Out is the shit.

If you're thinking about the Omega, you cannot go wrong. Period.
