Though I want this game the fact that they never show any activities outside of the missions makes me worry it will be boring. Kind of like GTA 4 where the story and missions were good but there wasn't a whole lot to do when just free roaming. I hope I am wrong.

That's so messed up. Only weeks till launch and this pops up? Now I'll either have to move the pre-order to something else or just cancel and wait till spring. All in all, extremely disappointing. Actually, I'm thinking that has a little less to do with "polish" as they are saying and more to do with Assassin's Creed 4 launching the same day. UbiSoft didn't want one handicapping the other one and since AC is the more "proven" franchise, they figured delaying WatchDogs wouldn't be a big deal.

The news makes me a little sad. I took a week off work for the game. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to settle for the PS4 and its lauch titles to fill the void. I just hope WD isn't released close to Bayonetta 2, Bravely Default, or inFamous: Second Son.

my brother preordered this with his PS4 and now he is devastated that he has to wait until spring. Such a great looking game I was excited for it and I havent even decided to get a next-gen system.

The Division? No, it's not a launch title. Late 2014, maybe early 2015 I'd guess.

Glad their holding back so the game can be made better. I'd rather have them take their time then rush it out for the launches of the new consoles. I sat in on one of the pre-recorded demos they had at New York Comic Con. Funny to see how they had to have it in a closed booth considering how they've already shown off 15 minutes of pure gameplay already and what they had to show was just more of it. Of course they couldn't say which system the game was running on in the trailer but it still looked pretty good, I like that you can craft shit like IED's and other booby traps on top of hacking into stuff.
Also got to see a demo of the new South Park game. They really did make it play a lot like Earthbound where you can see the characters on the screen and you can either run right up to them and start a battle or use stuff in the environment to take them out without getting into a battle.

Just got an email from the retailer over the weekend.
My entire PS4 Watch Dogs bundle was cancelled and refunded.
I called them, and complained.
I told them, the system is still supposed to ship, even though Watch Dogs was delayed.
How am I going to get a PS4 now?
It is sold out everywhere.
They said, "we are sorry", and we'll mail you a $25 gift card.
Just got an email this morning.
"We are working on a solution that will ensure you receive the video game console you pre-ordered. You will receive an email tomorrow with further directions on how to confirm your order. We are committed to shipping your game console by the date on your original order.
Additionally, we are emailing you a $100 eGiftCard for you inconvenience."
Wow. They cancelled my PS4 bundle and refunded me. They sent me $25 gift card. Now they are giving me a chance to pre-order the console again (without the game).
On top of that, they are sending me another $100.
That's CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
That sounds like really crappy customer service to me. You, presumably, paid for the entire bundle and now they cancel the preorder because the game isn't coming out?
It sounds to me like they "bumped you out of line" rather than trying to help/resolve the situation.
