Anyone like hot/salty beef jerky?

I just made a batch and they're too salty and hot to give to people who aren't into that stuff like I am. My recipe, which I think is pretty good. Anyone interested in trying some? I can mail it to you.

Made with flank steak (cut along grain in strips, cut in half), marinated in brine w/hot peppers, salt, etc. Air dried + secret method. Won't keep as long as regular jerky, but will easily keep for a month if necessary, this batch was made 4 days ago.

Medium heat, very salty, nice flavor.

I have enough for 5 people, shipped in little plastic Ziploc bags in box.

Just post your review after you try it if interested.

OK, I got all 5 of you guys now, and it ships tomorrow.

And I promise there will be no poison in the jerky, and yes this is 100% real. I love me some beef jerky, this method is a variation of Good Eats Alton Brown's jerky recipe I accidentally *(vastly) improved. I make it so salty as a deterrent to myself, so I won't eat it all in a couple of days. It's me and my friends favorite movie snack, because it's real stringy and chewy and it lasts a pretty long time.

This is so funny.....Can't wait to hear the reviews. I am a huge fan of beef jerky, and just got a smoker--any tips for that hot man-meat greatly appreciated. Not sure if I need a dehydrator or anything?

My personal preference is for air drying, just about the oldest food preservation method there is. But smoking and salting are pretty damn old as well. The best thing I've found that I haven't built yet is this cheap cardboard box and lightbulb diy thing that works really well, is reliable, reusable and will dry more meat strips than most things on the market: www.traditionaltx.us/images/JerkyDrierInstructions.pdf

Mine showed up but I havent sampled it yet cause I feel like I'm coming down with something. Smells pretty intense though
