When I first hookup my Wii U I know I have to update the data (firmware), Okay, no problem. But every f*cking game I play the first time I have to spend 10 minutes to update?

It rarely happens to PS3/Xbox 360 games; it only take couple minutes (the most) to update the patch or other things. Why Wii U games have long initial update for first time play?

I just don't know why......

It's the same with most PS3 games, shit takes forever.

like the PS3, frequently accessed data is copied to the HDD/Internal storage the first time to help with loading times

Oh, so basically it's like PS3 to save data to internal hard drive? That means I'll need to get external HDD soon............:X

Fuckin A. The ps3 is the worst with updates. I can't turn the shit on to watch a movie without updating the firmware or a game.

I would have to concur with you on that one as the PS3 is notorious for it's updates.

The Wii U UI is terrible and slow as fuck. A few updates and installs here and there on the PS3 is nothing in comparison.

Yeah, everytime I power down my Wii U the power indicator turns orange, showing that the system is performing an update check in standby.

PSN+ downloads game patches when system is off.

Your PS3 sucks man.

For me it's more like:

PS3 updates - takes 5 minutes (once every few months)
Netflix logs me in automatically because it saved my password the first time I ever entered it.

I have no complaints about the system.

I haven't bought a single title since launch, however.

Not only is there nothing out for it that I want, there is nothing in its immediate future that I want.

Bayonetta 2, but that's next year (I believe).

I will probably buy a PS4 before I buy another Wii U title, unless they surprise us with a Zelda game.

Still glad I bought it.

No, not really. Not being dismissive. Just don't really care.

I am not a Platinum fanboy. I recognize they are a talented studio, but I don't hold them in the same high regard that others do. They're good. Sometimes they make shitty games. So their name alone isn't enough to get me to care about The Wonderful 101, and the game itself just doesn't look like my cup of tea.

Sonic has to prove it to me before I 'll get interested. Too many shitty Sonic games over the years and I'm feeling a little snakebit by the whole thing.
