the revision of the older game by SEGA
and was totally disappointed.
They totally crowbarred the game into what it is so they could make shovel ware on the wii.
I don't think any of the game companies out there are the companies we grew up with anymore.

Update: According to an update from Cannon, Nintendo has allowed the Melee stream from Evo 2013 to proceed.

"We will be restoring the original stream and tournament schedules," Cannon wrote on Shoryuken. "Obviously this is a huge [relief] for all of us here and we're thrilled that the world will get to see the best Smash players fight it out this weekend. Thanks to everyone online who supported both Evo and Smash."

It's not even been a month and Nintendo already forgot how M$ ended up by acting like an asshole.

Replacing Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Twitch-hosted livestream will be "a mix" of Persona 4 Arena and King of Fighters 13, according to Cannon.

KOF 13 would have been a better pick anyways, if Nintendo had remained stubborn.

Tournament Smash Bros. games are fucking boring anyway without items and people thinking this game has some sort of "deep" fighting system.
Melee on it's own is fucking awesome though.
