Problem with a 161 in 1 cart.

I have a multicart 161 in 1 it was working fine but suddenly it start to have graphics problems. I tried the cart in other board to check if it was the board that gone bad but no, it does the same thing. The thing is the menu with the picture with terry bogard is fine without any problems and some games do not have the graphics problems but most of them had them. What could it be? I open the cart but I do not found anything wrong on the pcbs could it be that a rom has damage?. Anyway I'll post pic if needed.

ok I add the pics, and as you can see most of them have the problem and a few dont have any. Also many of the game that have problems have element like life bars etc. that looks fine but the rest is garbled.

As I mention I tried in different boards and the one I normally use for the 161 don have battery, and I clear the back up ram on all of them.

Have you cleaned the cart/slot contacts and made sure it's firmly seated in the slot?


You do realize you're using a bootleg product that may not work 100%, ever.. right?

I opened the cart and clean every contact. If where the contacts all of the games shouldn't work and some of them work without a problem. As in the pics some work perfect, other are totally glitched and some part are glitch but things like the life bars in fighters, bubbles in but a move and even in the neogeo screen some words are fine.

if it was the psu it would work on the other PCBs I tried and one consolized board too. In every board it does the same, I get the reality that the cart has gone bad.

Just a thought are you using a multislot system? If so are there any other games in the other slots at the same time? I'm betting you probably tried to get it going with only the 161 in 1 cart going but I know mine is very picky when it comes to what is inserted in the other slots. Figured it's a shot in the dark. I think you might be right in that it's just the cart going bad. I'm luckier in my issues tend to be sound issues on a good chunk of them. Certain ones glitch, certain ones don't.

I tried in a 2 slot but without another cart, most of the boards are 1 slot and the consolized is an MV1c. I know this are not high quality like the original snk boards, this are chinese boot cart and I know the quality is not the one to last like the original thing. If I cant fix it I might buy another one or might not maybe if some appear with a $50 price maybe.
