Jesus Christ... why all the jumping on broken for flipping preorders? If people are willing to pay instead of doing the preorder or waiting in line themselves, what's the big deal?

OT: I have had a PS4 on preorder since the day after the E3 conference. I didn't think I was going to join the next generation, but Sony is too smart with their marketing.

Yup. Scumbags will continue to be rewarded for being shitty human beings. Such is life.

Which do you think would be the better buy?

The M3 coupe

or the 550i xDrive?

I am kinda leaning towards the M3. Seems sportier...but I do like the all wheel drive of the xDrive series...especially since we do see some snow here in Ohio.

honest question - are systems at launch really hard to come by...even during a holiday season?

Throughout the years I've bought many consoles at launch, and I never had a problem finding one. Notable exception would be the Wii I guess.

The reason I ask is because if people are looking to buy many consoles and sell at inflated prices...couldn't that backfire? Is there really going to be an opportunity to sell these for $$$ above retail?

I decided after the E3 announcements to pre-order one. I'm still thinking about games, but I'm leaning heavily towards Watchdogs and Drive Club. Knack looks interesting, but I want to see more first.

I love how he thinks the profit margins are going to be that large. It won't be hard to find a system. Feel free to drive the current vehicle you own into a tree, though.

Who cares? If you don't have enough money to buy one now, flipping a dozen PS4s isn't going to make a difference.

The Wii U was not difficult to come by, but it also was anywhere near as hyped up as the Wii was. That was the first launch console since perhaps the original Xbox that was still able to be obtained with relative ease within the first month of launch. I have no recollection of the Gamecube launch though.

The Xbox 360 I remember being somewhat scarce at launch. The PS3 on the other hand seemed to have a steady supply of systems showing up. I remember walking into Best Buy and seeing a huge pile of PS3's. The pricing wasn't exactly helping it to fly out the door.

The PS2 on the other hand had a major shortage here in the US as there were only 500,000 upon release in October 2000. I was able to snag one about 40 minutes away in January 2001. People were still having difficulties finding the console several months after launch.

The PS4 I don't know what to expect regarding the availability just yet as no numbers have been announced. Amazon is guaranteeing systems at launch assuming you got the preorder in early enough. It won't be the PS2 scenario again with only 500,000 systems.

There is always the Z4

Bit less expensive, but still guaranteed to make the female panties drop.

I might need to bulk up on my PS4 and Xbox One preorders.

Pre-ordered morning after the presser, had already pre-ordered XBox One earlier in the day. As for games, only have Assassin's Creed 4 pre-ordered, but am waiting to see what's officially going to be on the launch list before making anymore choices and Tokyo Game Show is coming pretty soon, looking to see what news comes out from there.

Wish I could find the version with the fat black woman in the tub...

The best thing about that gif is that it's the perfect response to any comment on the internet, no matter how legitimate or banal.

Well, ps3 was not easy to get here. If you preordered one, they were who preordered first and so on a lot of people lower on the list didn't get one. It took a while for the supplies to catch up here as I guess we are not the first place the big companies give a shit about stocking.

Okay so I decided to put in a preorder for the system and a controller. I'll wait a bit closer to launch to see a bit more about the games.

I'll get one when it has some games that I want to play. PS3 will keep me busy in the meantime.

And the beauty of this is that every possible viewpoint that could be extrapolated from such a response is contained therein.

It could be a very sarcastic response in the vein of 'Cool story, bro.'

It could be a legitimate representation of casual enlightenment, sort of a 'Hey man, that's cool. I see what you're saying and can dig it.'

The possibilities are endless.

It may just be the best internet gif of all time.

I only got a PS3 in the last 6-7 months so it's probably going to be a while before I get the 4 and XB1.
