PS4 PreOrders

I've been thinking pretty hard about getting onboard.

I was curious who all has alreayd jumped on this. Also, what if any games did you order.

I'm still on the fence though as I've not seen any launch title that I really want to have that much. I guess I could get the new COD because it has a dog I'll care about, but other than that I just don't know.

Anyhow, does anyone think this will go like it did with the ps3 and be short out of stock and hard to get after the preorders are gone? Thats one of the reasons I'm thinking about going ahead and getting in on it just so I'll have it when the games I want come out.

I pre-ordered a couple... one for me and one for a family member. No games, just a couple extra controllers.

Kind of weird as I've always owned an Xbox and been on XBL since day one, but this XBone crap has given me no choice but to leave them behind.

I think it will be tough to get on launch week, like it usually is with new consoles. Especially with the low cost and positive hype. I would get in a pre-order if you are serious about getting one.

Games won't sell out so I am waiting on those, probably right up until the week before launch.

I am getting 2-3 games on launch from the following titles, haven't quite decided which yet.

Killzone
Infamous
Driveclub
Battlefield 4
Watchdogs

I ordered the morning after Sony's E3 conference. I also ordered Need For Speed. Are there any bundles now available for order, or is it still just the individual console and games you can order?

My friend went to order his at EB Games today and he asked him if ordering meant he was guaranteed to get a system on release. He said the guy told him the Sony would fulfill all orders. Don't know how likely that is.

Thinking of pre-ordering as well.

All in all not a bad start but just not much of the kind of stuff I play.

Gamestop seems to only have bundles for pre order.

I'm thinking maybe ordering from Walmart unless thats silly and I don't know it. Only because if there are awful launch issues or such that some consoles have had I feel like I would have a better shot at getting it taken care of than best buy or game stop. Also I want to order from something with a local outlet rather than through Amazon.

If you don't want to buy from price gouging resellers, it's probably wise to make a preorder even if there's no killer app announced for it yet.

From that list, I would go with Killzone (need a good idea of what to expect this next gen), Battlefield 4, and Watch Dogs for me. I'm sure some of the F2P and indy games will fill the remaining void.

Won't be pre-ordering, probably get one at some point next year once the software library is a bit more expansive and any initial hardware issues may have been sorted out. Maybe immigrating next year so no point in getting a PAL unit at launch anyway!

Had one preordered on amazon for a couple days, but then I realized that there's both a new GTA and a new Batman Arkham game coming out in the couple months before the next gen consoles arrive. Add that to my already considerable backlog and I think I can wait a while to make the leap to next gen.

I have the console preordered, but I haven't actually preordered any games yet. Not really sure what I want to go with. Perhaps Killzone/Drive Club/Need for Speed.

Drive Club is going to be free on PSN+ the first month the PS4 is out, but it seems there will be things missing from it. What those things are, have not been announced yet. If it's nothing major, I will likely get Watch Dogs instead.
