I picked up a JVC monitor last night that has these connectors on it for S-video in and out:

It's called a JVC 358 connector, or EIAJ 7-pin connector, used for old video cameras and JVC's own S-VHS decks. I'd like to get adapters (or cables) so that I can plug in a standard s-video mini-DIN. Anyone know where I can source something like that? I realize I may have to roll my own.

I know this is an old thread, but I picked up a couple of 20" Ikegamis that have the same input/output. I am planning to head to Fry's Electronics on lunch. I will let you know if I find any adapters there.

Update: No dice. I checked out the A/V section of the store, camera adapters, and the security section. This connector is just old. We have a professional camera shop that has some pretty hard to find equipment in town. I may check them out over the weekend.
