Holy shit the new Queens of the Stone Age album is FUCKING AWESOME! I got the leak earlier this week and can't stop listening to it, seems to get better with each listen. Only ten songs, but so much going on it's nuts. Check out some of the videos for some of the songs, really cool.







I'll definitely be buying this day one.

Did anyone catch the new stuff from Kanye West on SNL this week? I will admit to not really paying attention to him for a while, I remember liking College Dropout but nothing after that.

Thought the two songs he played were pretty cool.

I've been listening to the new Daft Punk album this entire week (thanks iTunes for the free stream-age). To be honest, I'm a bit lukewarm about it. I'm most likely going to write a full on review, but in short for me parts of it work gloriously while other parts fall flat on their face. After hearing "Get Lucky" I was toked to hear the entire album. It was a bit of old Daft Punk mixed with the new experiment into funk. Though as with most experiments, some parts work, some don't. I will say the entire album feels genuine and lavished with love by artists. I just can't see myself buying it. May put a few tracks on via Spotify but that's about it.

This song to me has perfect length, I hate when a song is too short, or too long.

But other than that Kurt Vile is pretty high up in my music interests right now.

Just got the recent remaster of Madseason's Above, the DVD of their last performance at the Moore theatre is worth the price tag alone not to mention the live at the Moore audio, and the remastered original. I haven't been this happy about a "new" music release in a fuck of a long time.
