Yeah, I have to agree with you. I like the White also. Its reminds me of the Sega Blast City in a way. 2nd choice would be Black. Blue is just too dark for my taste. Just something about picturing the cabinet in my house that says I'd probably prefer the White or Black. I guess its a good thing that we get to choose.

man now I have to make a choice of color haha, I like the black because its neutral but the white makes me think of a NEO Candy 29. When would we have to have a decision for what color we want? Im ready for this, it'll be nice owning a cabinet that no one else has owned.
I've started the discussions regarding the container order as of today. I haven't gotten any guarantees as far as other cabinets from Japan as others have asked just yet. I will need to know roughly how many total cabinets we are going to be ordering and the specifics of those. So which color cabinet do you want, Sanwa JLF joysticks and buttons but which color balltops and what color buttons you want on the machine, if anyone is interested in doing the sticker options, 1p or 2p control panel etc.

Any details on the monitor? specifically does the monitor have a switch that allows between 4:3 and 16:9? Lastly I'm assuming all these orders have to be from River Service, do they have to be filled with the Deltas? What if we wanted the "Brast" City's?

Still waiting to hear back on the specifics of the monitor. I may have a lead on a container but it is already 2/3rds of the way full. So depending upon how many cabinets we are talking then we may or may not be able to fit all of these in.
I'll have to dig through the thread and see who has expressed interest and get that sorted as well.
If Riverservice has stock of the Blast City cabinets, I'm sure that it wouldn't be a problem getting them on the container but I do not know pricing on them or condition as I am sure that they would be used.

As far as the monitor goes - Here is the manual that I was sent from Roque. Hopefully that gives you enough information on it. It isn't what I would consider your normal monitor/tv manual by any means.

We are still on for this. I've had a few set backs in regards to international freight shipping but we will get it all worked out in due time. Hopefully we can start finalizing orders after EVO which is July 12-14. Yes I know that is another month but I want to make sure that we have given everyone an ample opportunity to get the funds together for this. Its more than likely only going to be a 1 time buy on these. I mean its possible that we could do another order of them down the road but with the overall cost involved, I would lean towards saying that the probability is slim.
Shipping would be coming into California from Japan. After that if you need it shipped from California, you would be on your own as far as setting it up. I've got a contact that lives in California that would be able to allow them to be picked up by a shipping company. I'm sure we can work out all of the finer details as it gets closer to finalizing the whole order.

Currently with what little time I have had to work on this bulk order over the past few weeks... My original contact for shipping the container from Japan to the USA is no longer willing to work with me on this. In short, they're upset that I can get the machines for cheaper than what their actual distribution center can get the same machines for from RiverService. Because of that, they are no longer willing to assist in the shipping process. I have never dealt with shipping a container from Japan to the USA nor dealt with US Customs once it gets here to this scale before. If anyone has dealt with this before or would be willing to step up to the plate and assist, I would really appreciate it. Everything is still set as far as Roque goes, pricing is still the same and all of that jazz. We essentially just have to work out the details of exactly who is buying a machine(s), the specifics of that ala what color cabinet, control panel 1p or 2p, color of the balltop/buttons, etc. and then we have to figure out the shipping side of things. Once the cabinets are in the USA, if we are having some come to the Midwest, it would be cheaper to have them come to a set location and then everyone pick them up from there if at all possible.
Does anyone with any experience with this type of thing want to help out?

So, you can't ship directly through RiverService? Don't they have a shipping company that they deal with?
I emailed back and forth with Roque to see if it would be more cost effective for me to buy directly from him and ship straight to Toronto. Through the group buy I would have to pay twice for shipping. He gave me a quote with shipping included. Granted, that's only for one cab but I don't see why RiverService wouldn't be able to ship 10 or 20.

It's 235,000 Japanese Yen which works out to $2,352 USD as of today. That's just for the cab itself - shipping, customs charges and any other fees are not included in that amount.
