I received a voucher for $10 from PSN recently just for being 'a loyal customer.'

Have to admit, it was a pleasant surprise to find it in my inbox when I turned on my PS3 last night.

I don't care about specs, apps, or Kinect 2. I want MS to convince me why I should invest in their system (games).
That link I posted above pretty much killed my buzz.

You do know that a.) they're promising some surprises, and b.) that E3 is a few weeks away, right?

If by surprises you mean anything not Halo, Gears of War, Forza, or Kinect games related (cuz those won't surprise me at all), then I will be intrigued. Same goes for MS buying timed exclusive games or DLC. They need to bring out some fresh shit.
For the record, I don't hate the XBox, but the games they've released lately (if any), have been sub-par.

All they need to do is announce a new Project Gotham Racing title. An Xbox launch without PGR is like a PlayStation launch without Ridge Racer- it feels incomplete.

I've genuinely lost all interest in the Xbox at this point. The PS3 got to where it should have been at a few years ago, and is my go to system now.

I won't be touching the next Xbox offering unless they genuinely have something to offer other than Halo/Gears/Forza.

I'm looking forward to the PS4, but the Infinity can piss off for now.

Damn good point. I'm now hoping Namco will deliver us a nice 'new' Ridge Racer for the PS4 launch, as I had a lot of fun with RR7.

I'd look forward to a new MotorStorm too for PS4, but it appears Evo will be focusing on DriveClub instead for the next gen. MotorStorm; one of the few franchises I wish wouldn't have gone out with the previous gen, but I can't not try and at least respect Evo for moving on generation to generation (from WRC to MStorm to DriveClub, presumably). They're a great studio...

Did Sony ever say if you could bring purchases from PSN over to the PS4? Considering I only have two retail games and nothing at all downloaded on PSN I was wondering if I should even bother because will I be able to play them on the new system. Since I have way more XBLA games then retail games the announcement of them saying none of them can come over is an absolute deal breaker for me. But if I can play my old PSN games I'll start with getting the Pinball Arcade stuff now since it's on sale for Plus members.

It seems like a mistake both by MS and Sony to be bringing out new consoles that don't support the digital downloads of their previous ones.

The PS4 should allow you to play all of your digital PS3 purchases through their gaikai service.
