Are you saying just the music doesn't play or that the show Neo Geo boot screen doesn't show up either? If it's just the music, you actually see me switch midway through the video the it no longer playing the music. Hit your service button and change the settings in the menu. Let me know if you can't find it or don't know what I'm talking about.

Thank you. Yeah, just the music. I can see the Neo-Geo logo. I tried hitting the service button, but nothing seems to be happening. Is there a trick to it? LOL. Sorry, this is my first Neo-Geo cabinet. I have the MVS-4-25 version 1.

Long thread and this has probably been answered, for that I apologize. Question, does this 160-in-1 mvs work with the analogue cmvs?

Follow the line from your Service Button. Does it go anywhere? :)

Quick question here, which multicart has the most official games on it. the 161-1 or the 138-1? Is there a clear winner of the two or do they both have their own shortcomings?

check arcade otaku. The 138 has (to date) the most original Games: 97. The 161 has 94.

However you should decide what multi you want based on the available games. Personally I choose the 150, because it has both pulstar and blazing star, which I do not plan on buying, while offering most of the titles that were interesting to me at that time. I only use the multi for games I can't afford or want to check out prior to buying, so having to connect the "daughter board" of the 138 every time I did that would've been too damn annoying.

Not really sure how to answer this. The games (aside from bugs that have been mentioned) play like they would if they were the real carts on a real MVS.

it's basically like an everdrive, you are playing rahmz on real hardware. As far as it playing better? well I'd rather play neo on my arcade cabinet than my laptop........

Noticed a couple of minor glitches playing around the other day as well.

Sengoku hi score screen is all jumbled. And Far East of Eden, gets some graphical glitches when you pull off the "supers".

I'd also add that (at least with B. Jenet) some of the ending text is horribly jumbled up in Garou.

I will say I purchased a 161 in 1 cart and it was BAD. Referring to the fact that the chips were fried and that's why I was getting bad graphics. At the time it was the only cart i owned. I bought like 3 MVS boards thinking they were broken until someone suggested using a retail cart (and low and behold it worked). So these carts can be bad.

I have a 120 in 1 and a 161 in 1, which gives me a better selection of games, as the 120 version has games that the 161 doesn't have.

I just throw the multicart in the cab whenever we have kids over to play. Some of them don't have long attention spans and it's a bad idea to let them open up the cab to change carts.

I like my 100-in-1. Plenty of games I enjoy and then I own the carts for my favorites and anything I like that is not on the multi.

Just got a 161 from a member here. So stoked! First thing to go is the yellow cart! ;-)

Guys, just ordered a 161-in-1 from excellentcom - any idea where I can get a shockbox for the cart? Due to shipping / customs etc. somewhere within the EU would be preferred.

If someone needs a shocky in the US I have extras. I am going to make a cover for it soon too.

Hi all,

Maybe it has already been said but on my 161 I got Viewpoint. When I refer to the Otaku wiki it´s listed as missing in the 161 card.
