With E3 just a few weeks away why not get a thread started. As I understand it Nintendo just announced they'll broadcast their E3 Nintendo Direct on June 11th, 7am PDT/9am CST/10am EST. But I don't know which days or times Sony and MS will hold their conferences.

Awesome. Thanks, Earthquake.

I'm not expecting much from Nintendo's Direct. No doubt they'll focus on 3D Mario U and Mario Kart U, which Nintendo told us would be on the floor at E3. They'll probably touch on upcoming games like Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, and Rayman Legends (and possibly others) being made available to play at select Best Buy locations. Over on the 3DS, the E3 Direct should be a good time to talk more about Project X Zone, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, etc. And they'll probably close the Direct with Super Smash Bros. footage for both the Wii U and 3DS.

I expect all that to happen.

But what I'd really like to see is atleast a hint, some small piece of what Retro's working on.

Sony, I'd like to know if PSN will still be free or not. And of course, show me the games. MS, you can show me games too, but I probably still won't buy your system. Unless you've signed some exclusive deal with Bethesda for the next Fallout or Elder Scrolls. I sure the hell hope not.

im really looking forward to E3 this year. Sony has an opportunity to bury Microsoft. Show the hardware, put the whole used game/PS3 BC thing to bed, reveal a price point and just go nuts with game annoucements and gameplay - i welcome that.

On the flip side i want to see these 15 exclusives Microsoft is talking about. Obviously Halo, Fable, Forza , but im interested in the new IP

Yeah, I hope there is some info about Retro as well.

I would hope we get some info on Bayonetta 2 and the Xenoblade game as well.

Here is a question though, and I guess kind of unrelated to E3 (sorry!).... but I've seen some stuff online about a "kickstarter" for a potential sequel to Eternal Darkness. I really don't know much about this whole process, but my first question would be why wouldn't Nintendo jump on this as opposed to the developers having to get funding from the public?

I couldn't say for sure. Perhaps Nintendo wasn't happy with the sales of MGS: The Twin Snakes, so they never bothered to contract Silicon Knights for another game? Beyond that it's baffling why Nintendo never asked SK to do a sequel sooner. For all we know perhaps Nintendo did approach SK, but SK said "no" because they were too deep into Too Human development.

MS has left me disappointed (so far) with the One

now i'm just waiting on Sony to keep my interest in current gen gaming alive

I'm quite interested to see the design of the PS4 console itself and perhaps we will get some launch dates and pricing for both the Xbox one and PS4? Also Nintendo Direct before E3 will also be very awesome all in all I think June is going to be a very exciting time.

Yeah, who knows? Well, hopefully Eternal Darkness 2 gets released one way or another.

I also hope E3 has some good news for the Vita. Panopticon may be interesting...think its made by the same team that did Gravity Rush...

Wish the Vita would get some updates to the old PSP exclusives...games like LocoRoco and Pursuit Force.

Pursuit Force was awesome.

Less than two weeks now. I find myself thinking more about what I'd like to see from Nintendo. Hopes and dreams, if you will, because there's little to no chance of these things happening.

-Dragon Quest X Localization
Word round the campfire is that the Wii U version of DQX has not sold well in Japan. Less than 100k since its release back in March. That's an abysmal number for that franchise. I fear the chance of DQX being localized stands at zero.

-Destiny comes to Wii U
I'm really excited for this game. A Borderlands clone with MMO elements, minus a subscription fee? Bungie has given no hints at a possible Wii U version, the version I would prefer to support. Having sold my 360 and PS3 in anticipation of the new systems I guess I'll be buying a PS4 to play Destiny.

-PSO2 comes to Wii U
I've been a fan of this series since the first PSO on DC, pouring over two thousand hours into PSU alone. Again, nothing has been hinted at. However, all of the recent exclusive deals being made between Sega and Nintendo has given me hope. Of the three hopeful wellwishes I've listed I think this one has the best chance of being realized.

They aren't even putting the new CoD on the Wii U are they? No way is Destiny coming if that is true.

Sony is going to determine if I have any interest in the next gen stuff. Don't require a connection and don't have a fucking camera watching me at all times, its pretty simple.

Microsoft's press conference:

15 minutes about Call of Duty.
15 minutes about Halo.
15 minutes about Madden.

And 15 minutes about TV and sports.

That's right, they won't be able to avoid discussing it.

Sony's press conference:

1 hour of 'at least we're not THOSE guys!'

Nintendo's press conference:

WHERE THE HELL DID EVERYBODY GO!?!?!?!?!?

Might not be the best thread to put this in...but I will anyway since these are all upcoming games that may be shown at E3....but anyway, I was just thinking there are a ton of games coming out in the next couple of months.

Off the top of my head there is Muramasa Rebirth, Dragon's Crown, Project X-Zone and Shin Megami 4. I usually don't pre-order, but I am now because I want the pretty pretty limited editions/swag.

to be honest, I'm kinda glad Wonderful 101 got pushed back until September :)

Exciting times my friends...even aside from the next gen XB1 and PS4 hoopla.

It really feels like the year of the handheld games. There are and are goingto be so many great titles to choose from and play!

There's not much left I'm really looking forward to this year.

The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Pokemon X/Y, Watch_Dogs, and Zelda:LttP2.

There's also ACIV:Black Flag, Batman: Arkham Origins, but I'll wait for reviews and/or price drop.

I have neither a Vita nor a PS3.

I'll have to wait for Dragon's Crown to be added to PS4's gaikai streaming service.

I dont have a Ps3 either, but am looking to get one maybe during this Xmas season. I think Amazon had a ridiculous holiday bundle last year...think it was the console, uncharted 1 & 2 and infamous 1 & 2 for $200. I missed out on that...but if they do something similar this year I will be all over it.
