It maybe possible. This patent is a monitoring thing for public viewing of paid content. it would likely through some software built in as opposed to a physical person sitting there and watching you, but with the new kinect and a 1080p camera isn't it entirely possible on some level for someone to actually watch through it?

OK, if that's the case, I think it's going to be pretty damn essential to read through the terms of use and initial privacy statements that are sent with the unit, or required to be accepted before first signing online. If they're really going to play around with the idea of having companies pay to view customers while using their content... Yeah, that's incredibly scary. I'm still of the mindset that this will never, ever, ever happen... but I've been known to be too trusting at times
