I am interested in this game for sure but I do have the Dreamcast version which is apparently inferior.

Another oldie back from the dead. :)

That "TBA release..." Statement is regarding the FS home cart (AES), not a rerelease of the MVS. Last I heard there is no planned rerelease of the MVS as there are some unique manufacturing complexities on the boards of the FS cart which resulted in NGDT not wanting to do a new run of these. There seemed to be a chance that they were open to the idea (based off a brief comment of theirs) of an MVS rerelease if they received a substantial amount of preorders but I don't think anything came of that.

Btw, the Dreamcast version is not "inferior". Both are about the same sans some cut scene animations that are on the MVS version and some minimal load times on the DC. Actual gameplay seems to be nearly identical. There are some comparison vids on YouTube. Check it out.

Yes, I talked about the AES version :)
It's still available for preorder. This game seems amazing ...

I only have the DC version and I like it quite a bit. I primarily play shooters and for me I always come back to this game if I have a few minutes to spare. Basically, it has good replay value, for me at least. :)

I wouldn't mind an MVS cart as well but with the few I've seen for sale the last several months, I don't really feel like blowing a couple grand on it.

Well, at least we know the MVS version isn't worth $3000. :D

Glad I bought a couple of copies on both AES and MVS before they sold out. Fast Striker is an excellent game with awesome graphics, a wonderful soundtrack, and great replay value. I love my LE MVS version and look forward to it on AES.

The remaining stock of Fast Striker homecarts are now available on their site once again.

Dear customers,

the remaining stock of Fast Striker AES is now available.

New pictures of the Japanese and English inserts can be found in the shop:

http://www.ngdevdirect.com/index.php?cPath=21_31

The Japanese insert may receive a few changes. We are currently translating the story to Japanese and may add it to the back side.

Production will start in September.

Best regards,
NG : DEV . TEAM

I think we're lucky if we get it by the end of this year. I'm prepared that it gets delayed many times. Summer 2014?

Exactly the same day NGDEV sent this email:

"Dear AES customers,

finally the snapcases are in our hands.

We start shipping the Gunlord snapcases with inserts tomorrow.

As we are reprinting the old shipping papers we ship to the exact same address we shipped the cartridge to.
If your address has changed since then please contact us ASAP.

There won't be any individual shipping confirmations, but we will state on Twitter and Facebook once everything was shipped.
The plan is to ship 20-30 snapcases per day, maybe more is possible. It takes 5-7 days until all snaps are shipped. Shipping is done via airmail.

Sorry again for the long wait. But finally we have everything in hand to produce in the future in a timely matter AES cartridges. No cart sacrifices are necessary anymore. We have our own PCBs, shells and snapcases now.

Fast Striker AES is scheduled for November. We will announce the shipping in a later newsletter.

We have enough shells and snapcases in stock for Gunlord AES, Fast Striker AES, NEO XYX AES and Pink Bullets AES.

Best regards,
NG : DEV . TEAM"

not quite :)

i emailed them about a week ago asking to cancel my preorders. But they put me on a 'pre-order refund waiting list' (lol) so it took a few days.

If i helped in anyway to speed up the process for carts to get to those who preordered your welcome :)

otherwise im out fellas.
