Got my Star Ocean the other day. Just wanted to say that Webmeister makes an amazing product and that I hope to do business with him again soon.

BTW, the cart labels are amazing...almost factory quality.

I'm a little surprised that you don't have Sailor Moon: Another Story available. I seem to remember it getting an excellent translation back in the day.

Anyway, something to think about. Don't sweat the feedback, BTW...whenever you've got the time.

Hey all you guys who are looking for PMs, I guess I can't PM since you all have zero posts. I recommend you guys diversify around the board and get into some discussions so you gain the privilage, but in the meantime give me a direct email at www.callanbrown.com (and remind me you came from n-g.com)

I'll look into SM:AS, I suppose I just haven't had anyone ask for it yet.

Hey dudes,

Star Ocean price is officially going up to $120 unfortunately. I have to buy an SO and a Stunt Race FX or other available FX-style case to make them. You can save $10 if you keep it in the SFC case (which I can modify to work fine in your SNES although it's a tad uglier.

posting here to keep an eye on this thread. I will be picking up a terranigma at some point and maybe a few others. You may be the one to ask this question. If I get a Final Fantasy V repro would the chip in the SNES repro fir in a Super Fami Final Fantasy V shell? I ordered a repro recently from gamereproductions and have the opportunity to pick up Final Fantasy V cheap on Fami.

Hi greedo, awesome. Yes I can do repros in SFC shells, so for example if you send me the FFV SFC I can put in an English ROM. If you're saying you've already purchased the FFV repro from someone else, you can just get yourself a gamebit and swap the boards, they should fit fine.

One note (since I've been asked a few times), I'll only do the rom swapping service for games without an English released counterpart - for example I won't put the English Earthbound ROM into a Mother cart. It's just a big no-no to prevent fakes of investments like US Earthbound.

Cool, I already have a game bit so I will pick up that fami cart and see if my repro fits. If not I will be contacting you as I don't own a dremel tool. I have a few more question..

1. What type of paper do you print your custom case inserts on? Do you do this from a home printer, or kinkos or something?

2. You said you use a piggyback board. I am not 100% sure what that is, but from the name I have a good idea. So does that mean you use something like this...

I ask because I know some people offer trade-in credit for old games they use in repro's. So I assume this means you do not.

Covers are regular printer stock but printed on a professional printer, not at my house, and no that's not what a piggyback board is, and it's not really important.

I am however testing completely new PCBs that I designed which feature battery-less save!

Are there any translations for the Super Famicom Ganbare Goemon series aka Mystical Ninja? We got the first one here, but there were three more made for the Super Famicom.

I finally got my copy of Star Ocean and it was well worth the wait. It's a very high quality product including the box that holds the game as well. Heck, besides having a brand new snes game, the box itself made me feel nostalgic. It reminded me of all those games I used to rent back in the day. Trust me people when I say you should buy Callan's products. They are worth your money.
