Anyone here a serious Sega Master System collector?

I've got some questions about telling the difference between US and European versions of games, specifically the manuals.

US manuals are taller than they are wide. Think regular Genesis manuals but a bit wider than that. European manuals are needlessly wide, like NES booklets.

Other than that, it's pretty hard telling US and European games apart. Sometimes a US game has a UPC sticker though.

All my collection is PAL, but if you need any info, I'd be more than happy to oblige.

This is slightly off-topic, but I was wondering if or why European MD versions of Mickey's Castle of Illusion were released in the US? When looking for that game, it seems really common to find copies here that have Mega Drive stickers and manuals.

You sure they weren't imported? I've stumble upon a couple MD games in the wild over the years.

Sega Master System collectors are the few and the proud like myself. The instruction manual topic has been pretty much answered already. Anything else you need to know?
