There have been some questions about spouses and children...well, my wife and kids are going to be gone so that probably isn't going to be a great idea...not sure how today is going to pan out, weather looks questionable, so grilling might not work out and I've already had a few people bail out on me...Flippers at the beach might not be a bad idea today...anyway, PM's sent out to a few people. If response is still good, maybe we can still get this going. If not, I'll be drinking some frozen Marshmallow Sulleys and using my designated driver to run me out to the beach for a bit.

I have been silly busy. What's everyone doing this coming Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? I'm off thurs - sun. I'd invite u guys over today but I'll be at the school for the Skins game...they have a fundraiser going on.

I have an extra Metal Slug MVS cartridge if anyone is interested. It has a tear in the middle of the label, but the label is still all there. I just wanted to offer it to the local community first.

MAGFest is the first weekend of 2013 in National Harbor, MD. Don't know if others plan to attend but I will be staffing the arcade as usual, it should be a large showing!

I don't have any days off except the holidays. I have time in the evenings most days and I will be getting the NeoGeoX tonight and will have two sticks if anyone wants to try it out.

Freeplay 3 is Saturday, April 6th at the Chesapeake Central Library on Cedar Road. There should be lots to do and a few Neo-Geo machines to play on. If you have some MVS games you want to play against or co-op with others bring 'em out! If you want to do something competitive let me know.

How's WaterWorks treating you? I just finished up a methane CHP project and we are working on the initial stages of a THP project that will consume all of my time over the next 3 years or so. Glad I got a bit of a break between projects though...

I absolutely love it. great coworkers, great work shift as I'm on nights and work 12 hour shifts so I'm off every 2 or 3 days, and they're paying for my associates degree slowly but surely. another guy and myself are working on starting up a small 12 machine or so arcade in a computer store currently. you should come check it out once we get it all pieced together.

Looks like everyone's been very busy. I've been working on getting my film company organized and running and working on a few small side projects with a local group of filmmakers.

I did the rotating shift thing for 15 years. Now I pretty much live at the plant and visit my house to say hi to the family and play Kong Jr...
I liked working shift, 2 - 5 days off, set schedule, 40hr work weeks...
Now I'm 7 days @ 60 - 80 hr weeks, and have a high probability that one of my 10 operators is gonna call me up at ~ 2am...I miss a guaranteed full nights sleep :-)
This weekend, I'm keeping work to a minimum (got to head in soon for a few hours, lol) and planning on getting some well deserved house time in.
Planning a decent sized party next Saturday if anyone is interested. Food drinks games and swimming. Figured I need to have a bad ass birthday party this year!
