Hey everyone .. I just the other day scored on my second Big Red off of craigslist .. I'm super happy with how clean she is cosmetically .. It was originally a 2 slot dedicated Big Red but was upgraded to a 4 slot, it also came complete with all it's original wiring and also came with the 4 slots complete memory card reader fully working .. What a deal it came with 7 MVS carts Metal Slug 1,X,3,4, Last Resort, Samurai Showdown 1, Puzzle Bobble and an 8th Jamma cart called The Trans Formers 2011 Ultimate Edition 300 in 1 .. All for only 300 dollars !!! lol I wasn't looking to buy a second Big Red but with a price like that I would have been a total fool to pass that deal up !!!

That's extremely clean Neo G. I wouldn't touch it cosmetically and great deal you got there on Craigslist. For all the craziness on CL, you can find a good deal periodically (I got my cab off there too).

Congrats!

Ok just got done changing almost everything on the control panel. Put in two new Happ sticks one black and one red, changed all action buttons on P1 and P2 side with new Happ competition long buttons. For the start I decided to use red happs, and the select game button is a blue Happ Convex button to make it stand out. Looking pretty good so far now just need to find a new control overlay for a decent price.

I've had this big red cab ever since 2011. Its in good shape. I need to restore my big red though. The monitor dims intermittently and the side art is fading. I'll get it done one of these days.

I tried that and the screen still dims intermittently.

My monitor's fly back transformer needed to be replaced. Found a good deal on ebay for a new one. Now my big red's monitor is fine as can be!

Glad to see you back. I think my Big Red still gets the most love out of my personal arcade. I find any time I get a bit bored with the line up I just change out the games, and then I am not bored again. I have had it for over a year now and I still pretty much play mine at least 3-4 times a week.

I need to build a better shelf to store my games and make them a bit easier to access. So your two pinballs, are those pretty much your keepers or are you finding with pinball you keep it for a while, and then want to trade them out?

Those two pins should be keepers, very fun ones that I personally would never get tired of. Gonna get at least a Cyclone someday. The playfield is so awesome on it. Great ramps too.

That Cyclone is my second, and I just finished putting in a NOS populated playfield so it is here to stay. Pins rotated like crazy but I have settled right back to my very first pin, and next to it is Haunted House one of my favorite themed pins off all time. I had about 4 DMD modern pins come and go recently and although they are deep and fun, they lack that "feeling" the older pins give off. I've learned two hard lessons in life, never sell your Neo and never sell your Cyclone. Words to live by.
