Hey Everyone,
I'm a video game addict from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I have a sizable collection of old computers, consoles, and portables. I enjoy video games of all types and ages.
I was always a huge SNK fan and wanted a Neo Geo so badly. I own lots of ports, two Neo Geo pockets, and compilations. However, I still don't own an AES. I'm on the fence about a Neo Geo X.
However a year ago I made one of my dreams come true, I found and purchased an MVS-4-25 in great shape. I have begun a restoration on the unit. Minor stuff like new buttons, sticks, lights, and other cosmetic touchs ups. The maquee panel (EL) is dim but functional. It has a UNIBIOS 3.0 installed.
It only a few minor and common problems. It needs a cap kit for the audio. It does work but takes a while to warm up. It also had a leaky battery, which has cause a backup memory error. Finally a cap kit and calibration on the monitor would do nicely.
I really looking forward to joining the community here and picking up hints and tips for my restoration. Thanks.
