I don't believe the backer number is listed anywhere on the KS page, looking around on google the only thing I could find was a roundabout pain in the ass way to determine your backer number from the backers of the printrbot. Not sure if this actually works. http://www.printrbottalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=320&p=2256

edit: Actually looking on the backer questions page, it says that backer names are added to the page in randomly ordered groups of 10. So, I don't think that the above method would work.

Update From Kickstarter:
"Last status update I gave was just two days ago. But if you would like I can make them more frequent... Last count I got was a little over 1500 completed with Quality Control and Assurance.

They estimate mind you this is factory estimation not mine April 20th, 2013 for completion of production and Quality Control and Assurance then shipping to USA that same day. As for when they will arrive in the USA and how long it will take to flash them is a guess I can't make.

You have to keep in mind funds from KS were not in my hands till Feb 16th, 2013 which was while Chinese New year was in full swing in China by the time they got back it was the 23rd of Feb and factory didn't spin up with production til 25th of Feb 2013. So only a little over a month has passed since production was put into motion."

Looks like a may release.

'm hoping this comes out sooner rather than later. Work is about to force me to travel a lot and I would like a good handheld system and can't decide between this and the 3DS. The lineup on the 3DS is great in my eyes but when spending hours on plane rides I would like something that's a little easier to change the games out and also let me choose from different systems depending on my mood or what I feel like playing.

Very good point. Don't get me wrong the 3ds with mh alone could keep me good fora while but the ability to switch from 3rd strike to super mario is far more convenient.

I have been out of the loop for the past few weeks - Has the weatherproof case has been offered for purchase yet?

This thing is interesting, I may just get one of these once they are available, I really like the 4/3 screen.

Yes, no more scaling bullshit that looks ugly. 4:3 ratio screen is perfect for all the old games.

Looks like it's on the boat and being shipped to the states! They still need to be flashed with the new 512mb boot-loader. Still no fix from what I heard.

New update from Q*Bert

I saw the last email update they had. Looks like A LOT of people ordered black. They showed pictures from the factory in China and they had a big bin of Zeros, and I spotted one white one. Sucks they weren't able to meet the original April deadline they had but I think they had a lot more people that got on board. Since I got my pledge in a week and a half before it closed I doubt I'll get one of the first batch of units. Hopefully by the time I get mine they'll have everything figured out and up and running. I still need to make sure the stuff I have is even up to date for it.

Since I have so many black handhelds I went with a white one. :) Thanks for sharing this video, I can't wait for mine to ship!

I think it looks solid. Nice screen resolution and certainly enough power for a lot of 2D stuff. SNES should run very well too with a 1ghz cpu. Price is fairly low and will probably emulate the Neo Geo better than the Neo Geo X

They are finally shipping out the special edition versions of the system. Once they send out those they will start sending off the kickstarter versions. Looks like June will be the month.

Just did mine. Bit different since you need to give them your Amazon Payment number, follow the comments on the site, you don't get it from the Amazon email. I guess in a week or two they'll start sending out the ones after they do the SE's. Now I gotta go look for stuff to put on this thing, or hope the stuff I had for years will work on it.

Give it a chance, man. If you don't fall in love with it after a week, then I'll take it off your hands. What color did you pick?

I got black, I think its going to be a really good unit but i have a habit of buying handhelds and then not using them so may as well let someone else get it early who will get more use out of it. I might pick one up again down the track.
