No.. Its probably the.... 20th. I'm that terrible. There is no other genre of games that I'm bad at. Maybe Football, Basketball, or Baseball games.. I don't play those. I love SHMUPS and wish I was good at them. I can get to the third stage on Blazing Star. Thats about the best I can do at any SHMUP.

Viewpoint, Sapphire and Musha....well at least you're successfull at choosing good shmups to be unsuccessful at
I do have good taste! lol. I actually just got to level 5 on Sapphire. I had to set it to easy and 9 continues but I'm making progress.. I find Viewpoint to be very difficult. I've played it quite a few times but never for a long time.. I need to dedicate some time to it. Making some good progress with Sapphire gives me a little motivation.

And don't worry about your skill as long as you have fun playing! I suck at most video games, but I enjoy playing them anyway, fuck the haters.

Indeed, sad to see such good games being wasted on someone who doesn't even both to figure out what all the buttons do.
Right. I was going to say it would have taken less time to learn what all the buttons do than to make that video.

No I haven't played it.. I just recently started getting into these games. I've just been trying a lot of different ones to see which ones seem interesting. I'm gonna start putting some time into figuring out a few of them. So Far I really want to get more into Blazing Star, Pulstar, Viewpoint, Sapphire, Blazing Lazers, Download 2, MUSHA, and Ikaruga. I'll check that one out though.

As far as I remember Viewpoint has never had a reputation for being the easiest of shmups.
I certainly wouldn't buy it if I were just getting into the genre, it takes lots of practice to get good at Viewpoint, especially the later levels & bosses.
If you've got a PC Engine, I'd highly recommend Star Paraodier - that is loads of fun to play and isn't even as remotely brutal as Viewpoint... I'd stay away from Cave stuff for now if I were you!!

Man, you're not really terrible, just need some practice. Besides those games you chose to play are not the easiest of shooters. For an easy shooter to practice on,Blazing Lazers/Gunhed is a good start like others have mentioned. Also, try to find Override for pc-engine. It's another easy, but really fun shooter. BTW I love the T-Shirt. Hell yes to some Morbid Angel.

Haha.. Thanks man. I've been playing several of the Cave shooters lately and beaten nearly all of them.. I'm definitely getting better. I just never played these types of games growing up. And thumbs up for Morbod Angel.. Going to see them in a few months.

Let's face it man. You didn't really beat them. Once you understand this, perhaps you may blossom. We were all born ignorant. I'm no exception. Nice, FFTTF shirt. I think that's definitely the best non-Vincent Morbid Angel album.
