KoF 13 Evil Ash Tips

Anyone got any? I've beaten the game a few times now, and it seems I only beat him when luck chooses to favour me. Saiki gave me a boatload of trouble at first, but I figured him out after a few fights, and he's not so bad anymore. Ash continues to enrage me in ways that make the end of the game not fun. I keep getting caught in endless spam no matter how I go about attacking him

get in close and stay close and wait for him to do stuff then counter try not to make the first move, also rolling through his fireballs helps a lot to get close and if you get him in the corner use combos that start low and throws as well

Hmm, I think staying close is where I'm going wrong. When he starts belting out the supers, I back off and get defensive. Then he backs off to the opposite end of the screen, and I'm back on the spam train. That and I clearly need to get better at my rolling timing. I can usually roll through 2 volleys, but on my 3rd roll I get either caught in his next volley, or he nails me in a counter, sending me usually again far enough away from him that he leaps back to the other side and either spams supers or projectiles.

Low start combos are something I hadn't consciously thought of! I'm gonna give those a go and see where it takes me. Most combos I try to start on him when I get close almost immediately get countered, but I don't think many of them start low. Thanks muchly for the tips!
