Picked up m first Neo last week a basketcase MVS 2 slot. No monitor or power supply but 2 games. Got the battery changed and a power supply wired in and a 25 inch tv decased and in there just waiting on my encoder to arrive. Maybe some day I will replace it with a proper monitor. It is an audio game for now... Always wanted a Neo Geo and now I am living the dream.:glee: I have found the forums very useful in getting this machine kicking again.

Welcome and congratulations. You are definitely in the right place. :) Post some pictures of your cab when you get it up and running.

I don't want to flood with too many pics at once but it has a Metal Slug marquee in it now but
I also have the 2 slot marquee that will go in once i get another mini marquee all I have is the MVS one and it looks naked with nothing in the 2nd window. I have Metal slug cart and Super sidekicks. Also the owners manual. All this minus the $30 tv for $100... Not too shabby.

That's a thing of beauty! It's (almost) always nice to see a classic machine coming back from the dead.

I'm curious if there is anyway he can tap into the RGB lines on that tv?

I don't think I would be that talented but the neobitz -S looks great with s-video. It exceeded my expectations I used it a day on composite and s-video is just wow in comparison. My camera doesn't do it justice, it looks crisp and vivid to the naked eye. I am sure it's not as great as a proper monitor but that is pretty much out of the question for now.

Why not shop your local thrift stores for the right size TV with component video? It's not quite RGB but quality wise it's much closer than s-video.
