I joined last year but never really posted just browsed, found this forum looking for information after in I found my neo geo pocket. Had it since around launch date. Soon after finding my NGPC I purchased and AES, one if the best things I did and worse, being the noob that I was I didn't realize how pricey carts cost. Should of did more researched and got an MVS, I mostly do fighting games so luckily most aes carts in that category are cheap. Now I'm stuck in a dilemma, hopefully I can get some feedback from you guys, should I go ahead and get a converter or just get a cmvs? Thanks for the help!

Go CMVS ASAP. :)
If you get into MVS early, it'll save a lot of headaches and expensive compulsions later on. Not to mention there are some major gaps in the home cart library that'll send you spinning into a pile of MVS carts eventually anyway (that is, if you're in it for actually playing the games).

Oh, and P.S. welcome! :D

Yeah I actually play the games, and so far I'm doing good with the 3 carts that I have but I see other games that I want to play and are just to to expensive, and when I see them on mvs the price is just way lower. I seen the omega CMVS which I'm leaning on, don't really dig the wood AI one. Or I seen the adapter as well but so far everyone I talk to about it the seem not to like adapters.

The Daedalus adapter is good stuff from what I understand (I don't own one). I have a Super MVS Converter 2 and it works perfectly for me.

http://www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.php?240964-NEO-MVS-MAGIC-KEY-converters-for-sale.

for that guy to support it and to have unibios stuff in it this would be your easiest option for clutter and reselling to be able to play mvs. the only thing I wonder is if you could get mvs ngdev games they sell aes too though so you could still get those instead. maybe those are expensive enough that you don't care(they are too many$$$ for me).

it's low profile too!

If you are interested in CMVS, Xian Xi builds them too, you might want to pm him for more info.
